Our Vintage'69s are wax potted to avoid the microphonic noises and squeals but still remain true to the original tones and characteristics and make them lively with more clarity and bite. The Neck and Bridge are South up while the Middle is North up reverse wound to reduce the noise when mixing pickups. We have spent years testing different wire and wire makers and only use the finest quality we have found along with period matching bobbins and push back leads to insure nothing but the best sounding pickups. 42 Plain Enamel wire for these'69 Vintage Pickups to stay true to the period correctness. Each of our Limited Edition Handwound Sets are Signed, Numbered and Dated by Gregory Migas. Average read out Neck 6.05 Middle 5.65 Bridge 6.10 each may slightly vary.
